For one day only, Michigan Design Center will be transformed into a showcase for elegant home entertaining. Gather is a unique decorating event that will feature stunning vignettes ranging from tablescapes to entertaining spaces in nearly 20 showrooms and studios, plus a special presentation by an expert in the home entertaining industry!
10 AM - 3 PM | DESIGNER OPEN HOUSE
Explore inspiring vignettes designed by top interior designers. During this open house, guests can meet the designers, discover the inspiration behind their displays, and cast their vote for the People’s Choice Awards. ADMISSION
Admission to the open house portion of the event is a non-perishable food item or monetary donation of your choice to Gleaners Community Food Bank, which has been “feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities” since 1977. Gleaners partners with hundreds of pantries, schools, senior centers, soup kitchens, shelters, and other nonprofit organizations in southeast Michigan.
2 P.M. | SPECIAL PRESENTATION: "THE ART OF TABLESCAPING"
Join Arthur White of A & E Décor for an inspiring presentation on tablescaping in MDC’s Mid-America Room. A limited number of tickets are available for $10 each, with all proceeds benefiting Gleaners Community Food Bank. After the presentation, enjoy a book signing and reception in The Ghiordes Knot showroom.
