“Gather” – Celebrate the Art of Entertaining

Thank you to everyone that attended MDC’s Gather event on Friday, November . It was a full day of fun and inspiration just in time for the upcoming holiday entertaining season! A special thanks to all the showrooms, their staff, and the designers for their hard work creating the 26 beautifully designed vignettes.

"PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS" WINNERS

Attendees voted for their favorite designs, casting their ballots throughout the day. Congratulations to the winners for each of the three categories below:

"Crowd Pleaser" Award

Family Table by Baird Design Group — "Family Table" in The Ghiordes Knot won the "Crowd Pleaser" award for overall favorite display. Designed by Joel Baird of *Baird Design Group.*

"Design Inspiration" Award

Debi Hollis_Around Tuscan Table — "Around the Tuscan Table" in E.W. Kitchens won the "Design Inspiration" award, which is the vignette guests would most like to re-create at home. Designed by Debi Hollis of *Interior Lifestyle*.

"One In A Million" Award

“Divine Dining" in Decoroom won the "One In A Million" award for most imaginative display. Designed by Sharon Gamblin.

Gleaners

Thank you for your generous donations!

In just 5-hours, we collected 1,057 pounds of food and $2,547 for our charity partner, Gleaners Community Food Bank. The food and monetary donations will immediately help feed hungry neighbors in Southeast Michigan.
