Removing the soffits to this transitional kitchen allowed for beveled tile as a backsplash with adding accent tiles in between for a great backsplash wall from Virginia Tile.

The peninsula was removed and replaced with a storage/serving island. A storage closet with inside vacuum plug was added next to the door wall. A pantry was added next to the refrigerator. The corners have Lazy Susans for extra storage, not wasted space.

Expansive window treatments, textured throw rug under glass/metal table and metal fireplace display with inserts between bricks create visual expansion into dining room art wall. This comfortable room has immediate WOW factor.

Renovation of kitchen, removing pennisula, adding storage island, access now to room on other side of sink, two pantries, entrance display, excessive storage + crown molding give room immediate appeal and is a pleasure to look at.

By removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room, I was able to extend the kitchen cabinets to the other window and create an open look. The curved eating island has lots of storage on the other side.

The kitchen was extended by removing adjoining dining room wall and soffits. Light fixtures from Lighting Resource Studio over the sink and island preserved the more traditional look and extended the island.

Floating shelves will complement any room style of furniture, whether very contemporary or traditional.

This narrow bathroom looks larger with large-scale wall tiles in the tub and floor. I used the accent tile as a backsplash for the tub as well as the counter. All were from Virginia Tile. The mirrors and bright sconces are from Lighting Resource Studio.

I designed and had manufactured locally this custom storage / display unit, which also houses electronic equipment. Perfect for an apartment, condo, or home.

I designed and had my fine furniture cabinet maker build this wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling bookcase / storage unit with a flip-down center desk. The room became wider visually.

This den houses two computer work stations, storage, and files with a separate lighted display shelf above. There is also a display bookcase. Reading space is provided by the recliner from RJ Thomas. The table and lamp are from Lighting Resource Studio.

This sofa was purchased for another home. My upholsterer refreshed it for this condo. By adding end tables, a glass-topped cocktail table, a throw rug and lighting. An entirely new and exciting but comfortable mood was created.

I designed and had my furniture maker create the two display cabinets on either side of the dining room entrance. They are fully lighted and have metal and glass to be in keeping with the light airy look that was created.

I designed a triangular eating area in the only space allowed in the home. There are cabinets underneath for extra storage. My furniture maker and upholsterer worked together with me to make this perfect solution!

I custom-designed this TV storage unit and cocktail table. The sofa is from RJ Thomas; pillows from Pindler, and lighting from Lighting Resource Studio.

I custom-designed a home office work station with display, lighting, file space, storage, and bookcase to fit the whole wall for maximum usage. The floating shelf above the work area is also lighted.

This terrific laundry/storage room has granite countertops for easy care. Animals are bathed and fed here. Project items are easily stored. Upright cleaning appliances have a space of their own.

This home office has lighted under bookcase shelves with lots of storage. Most equipment is hidden on pull-outs with lots of hidden ports throughout. Lighted framed equipment display area for crystal objects is included.

My contractor installed a fieldstone fireplace wall to the second-story-high slant ceiling. A live oak mantel was added. The TV can swivel for better viewing.

This wall-to-floor ceiling unit offers tons of storage and lots of lighted display! The open center can house a large-screen TV or more artwork.

This wonderful bar is on casters so it can be moved to any part of the home when you are entertaining! There is a lot of storage on the opposite side with locked cabinets.

This den for two professionals who sometime work at home has crown molding all around the room, furniture base and vertical detailing, under upper-cabinet lighting, venting for air ducts, plus lots of storage with display space.

Putting new door/drawer fronts and adding end panels in wood transformed this outdated kitchen into a NOW LOOK! New fabric was added to the chairs and counter stools. A wonderful over-table light pulled the whole look together.

The full remodel of this very narrow bathroom vanity detail that allows the door to close and still allows room on the quartz countertop. The vertical tile backsplash is used in the tub as well.

Desk area to fit into any room in your home with a clean, clutter-free look with file drawers, storage, wastebasket and office supplies all contained out of sight. Display and crown molding give it that extra oomph!

This lighting alcove display wall unit provides plenty of storage, plus a wonderful display on thick glass shelves! This complementary fireplace mantel fits right into the d├ęcor.

Building a custom table in zebra wood to display books with a storage cabinet on back side for throws as well as matching the sofa legs created a unique look.

I designed this unit to fit the wall with audio/video storage as well as for albums. It can be moved to a future condo when the client decides to downsize.

A custom wall unit was designed to hold a big-screen TV, easy closed audio accessibility, storage, open display and glass-enclosed and lighted closed display for a wow factor!

Keeping the existing cabinets but making a new 12-foot-long island area that features matching cabinets, a wine cooler and an octagonal countertop eating area. Countertops were changed; lighting and a backsplash were added.

This bookcase display storage unit has a queen-size bed hidden in the center cabinet that can be easily pulled down to reveal lighting for reading. Adding crown molding gives it a very custom look!

Creating this display with lots of wood detailing, including a wonderful mantel, made this room look much more spacious and very cozy at the same time.

This area was a closet, which is now custom-fitted to house a big-screen TV, lots of storage, plus a lighted display behind glass. It can all be removed when selling the house. Detailing makes a difference and makes the room larger!

I am a full-service interior design firm. I do project management for renovations as well as new construction from floor-to-ceiling, including wall removal when necessary. I have the same contractors I have used successfully in many cases for more than 25 years.I plan your whole project, including floors, cabinets, lighting, furniture placement, wall and window treatments, and bring the samples to your home to view! I also custom-design and make furniture to fit exacting spaces.
