THE SAMPLE SALE AT MICHIGAN DESIGN CENTER IS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR 2 DAYS ONLY! 

It’s the furniture savings event of the year and it only lasts for 2 days – introducing THE Sample Sale at Michigan Design Center being held on FRIDAY, January 25th with EXTENDED SHOPPING HOURS 9 A.M. TO 8 P.M. AND Saturday, January 26th with 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. shopping hours. Normally open to interior designers and their clients only, this sale allows the public a unique opportunity to shop the fabulous showrooms of MDC where they will find phenomenal savings of 60% to 70% off list prices on thousands of designer quality home furnishings, including furniture, oriental rugs, lighting, original art and accessories. There is a
$7 admission charge, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit COTS - The Coalition on Temporary Shelter, which provides shelter for the homeless.

Merchandise will be sold AS IS and all sales are final. Payment may be made by cash or check and most showrooms will also be accepting Visa or MasterCard. A delivery service will be available and arrangements can be made at the customer’s expense. Delivery must be accepted within 10 days of purchase.

POPULAR DESIGN SEMINARS WILL BE OFFERED ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY – Topics include, Color Courage: How to take the leap into palettes that pop (Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at 12 noon and 2 p.m.) Recipe for Success: Taking your kitchen design from concept through completion (Friday and Saturday at 2:00 p.m.) Home Fashion Trends: Discover what’s hot and what’s not for 2008 ( Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.) There is no additional charge for Sample Sale participants to attend these seminars.

During the sale, professional interior designers will be available to answer consumer questions and give advice.

Michigan Design Center is located at 1700 Stutz Drive in Troy, which is north off Maple, between Crooks and Coolidge. MDC showrooms serve the interior design professional.
